Fly Fishing the North Fork

Ages 9-13

July 5th-7th, 2020

What do you call a fish with two knees? Where does a fish keep its money? Which aquatic macroinvertebrates should we be mimicking with our fly patterns to land the trout of our dreams? All of these questions and more will be answered in this wild (and scenic) 3 day camp! After we’ve learned the basics of fly tackle, casting techniques, and reading a river, we will get our hands dirty in search of our new best friends, BUGS! Once we’ve all become master bug whisperers, we will put our fly fishing skills to test all over the North Fork Valley, angling for trout, arctic grayling, and maybe even the elusive Spotted North Fork River Dragon! Register fast before this opportunity wriggles away!
