Youth Adventure Series (YAS): Art Gone Wild
Glacier Institute Staff
In this course, participants will learn to become keen observers of the natural world through various nature art and journaling activities. We will encourage curiosity as we increase our awareness and appreciation for local natural resources. All of our activities will be within walking distance of the Glacier Institute Field Camp. In the morning, we will immerse ourselves in nature with a short hike into the woods. Along the way, we will move slowly and give special attention to the plants, animals, birds, and insects that surround us. On the way, our instructors will offer instruction on field journaling and sketching techniques. After we have lunch at Field Camp, we will use watercolors to bring our sketches to life!
