A complete information packet will be mailed to you about
2-3 weeks before the program’s date. This packet will include
a gear list, meeting place and time and all about the program
including suggested reading material and any specific gear
you might want to bring to make your participation more
enjoyable.
You will receive a full refund less a 25% administrative
fee (per person) if you cancel at least 30 days before
the class begins. No refunds will be made for cancellations
received less than 30 days before the start date. The
Glacier Institute depends on registrations for its funding.
As a non-profit organization on a limited budget, The Glacier
Institute cannot make exceptions to this refund policy
for any reason, including personal emergencies or natural
emergencies. While inconvenient this policy enables us
to sustain our programs despite last minute cancellations.
NOTE: Accident and trip insurance is available through
travel agents and will protect you against financial loss
if you cancel or interrupt a trip due to illness or injury.
