Glacier’s many high country lakes provide
the perfect nesting habitat for loons and a beautiful setting
for observing their behaviors and listening to the wild
and romantic songs of these stunning birds. The class
will visit a loon inhabited lake in the North Fork to observe
nesting behaviors, chick rearing, plumage and flight.
You’ll come away with a first hand appreciation of the
amazing life cycle of this fish-eating, deep diving, and
ancient bird. |
