The Crown of the Continent ecosystem’s crystal clear waters creates an alluring window into its vibrant aquatic community.  You will see the creatures in McDonald Creek that are indicators of aquatic health and examine the issues of sensitive species, and their life cycles and threats.  At dusk, we’ll reconvene for a unique experience, a nighttime snorkeling session with underwater flashlights.  You can be one of few people who understand the rise in activity levels of aquatic organisms after the sun goes down.  You will be provided with a full wet suit.  Our evening session ends at midnight, so you may want to overnight at Field Camp.
