Did you know that some trees have bark that is over three inches thick to protect them from fire, while others celebrate fire by having pine cones that burst open to release thousands of seeds in the middle of a raging fire?  Have you wondered what happens to forest creatures, like squirrels, elk and bear when fires burn their habitat?  We’ll answer these questions, play several games, listen to stories and see firsthand the effects fire has on plants, animals and humans.
