Full Course Details
Beaver are second only to humans in their
ability to alter their environment. The habitats they
create are vital to the livelihood of a huge number of
species from neotropical birds to insects to elk. We will
spend the first morning in the classroom learning about
the habitat that beavers create, their unique biology and
methods of coexisting with this essential keystone species.
The rest of the course will be spent out in the field using
our new knowledge.
